Under the cherry blossoms on a cold blustery overcast Vancouver spring day.
I recently saw a bumper sticker that said,
Don't follow me, I'm following my bliss.
I loved it!
And in a quirky way, the sticker wasn't on the back of the car, it was on the front bumper! This added to the enjoyment.
The sticker's message speaks of being attuned to our own inner muse, rather than to someone else's. Being attuned to the originality that comes through each of us, and expressing it uniquely. Having the courage (the heart) to allow the Creator to create a work of art through us. An original, not a copy.
The love, the bliss, the signs, the messages, the dreams, the synchronicities are the clues to follow... they are the scent on the trail of creativity and original expression. That which touches our hearts, our essence, our beingness deeply. And yes, inspiration is all around! The cherry blossoms are inspiring, the birds are inspiring, the trees are inspiring, the wind is inspiring, the light is inspiring, the silence is inspiring, the stillness is inspiring. We inspire (breathe in!) the inspirations and see what breathes out... what is expressed.
We all know bliss. We experience it. It's here... especially in the small everyday ordinary things... there is utter joy feeling the breath moving through this body right now, aware of this alignment with the One, the potent aliveness, the profound stillness, the feeling of the inner wrists and palms resting on the computer, the fingers dancing on the keys, hearing the familiar sounds in the room, seeing the effects of the wind on the trees outside... all so ordinary and yet, deep joy, for no reason at all!
How blessed and blissed we are! To be here embodied and to know this extraordinary/ordinary bliss. If we follow someone else's bliss, we go off course. So we keep our own inner GPS set to our bliss and see where it leads. Where is the One taking us? What is the Source of all bliss creating through us?
P.S. The bliss isn't ours, neither is the creation or anything else... it all belongs to the One!
PPS As you may have noticed, I've recently discovered the 'text background color' button!
