May all beings be peaceful.
May all beings be happy.
May all beings be safe.
May all beings be free of suffering.
May all beings be liberated.
May all beings realize their essence and live this fully, completely and utterly!

just keep quiet

Since we've been back from the recent great European adventure, Tomas & I have been spending lots of time in the nearby forest... walking, walking, walking... We're so lucky to live very close to this outer magical kingdom called forest ~ only two and a half blocks away. Such Stillness... aaaahhhhhhhhh... so palpable... so undeniable...

And we meet the most amazing beings here ~ all different sizes and shapes and colours and forms and textures and species, unmoving and moving... all works of art ~ trees and flowers and mosses and ferns and berries and rocks and tiny flying beings and not so tiny flying beings and four-legged beings and two-legged beings. All enjoying the Stillness ~ being the Stillness that they are. This outer magical kingdom being a true reflection of the inner magical kingdom.

Perhaps you've noticed how nature is always giving satsang. Nothing or no one is denied. All is welcome. All that is is welcome. That's the gift of nature ~ simply being its true self... what an amazing gift! And perhaps you've noticed how everyone loves nature ~ regardless of the form that it appears as... flowers, trees, shrubs, gardens, oceans, rivers, seas, mountains, sun, moon, wind, rain, birds, animals... everyone loves the essence that shines through nature ~ the Stillness... the Stillness that appears beneath the form. And when this ever present Stillness is acknowledged ~ honoured, it reflects back a strength and depth and power that stops everything.

Honouring Stillness is so simple... simply stop... be still...

As Papaji says, "Just keep quiet."

Our friend Katie, who holds satsang with her beloved Sundance and is so lucky to live in gorgeous Hawaii, recently sent us a copy of Wake Up and Roar by Papaji. We are greatly enjoying reading this ~ such laughter comes out of us! How wonderful that the Truth can be so funny and enjoyed so much....................... Irina Tweedie, who authored Daughter of Fire, quotes her teacher Bhai Sahib, "Before you Realize, books are useless, because the more the mind is stocked with knowledge, the less it is inclined to surrender. Then she adds, "After Realization books are very useful; they make you more articulate." Yes, yes, yes. How true!

Such a simple truth ~ just keep quiet. Nothing more is needed. Just keep quiet.

Then you become like nature ~ natural and real and still ~ always giving satsang, just simply by being. Then you discover that Satsang is all around you... everything is giving satsang to you and you are giving satsang to everything! Everything and you ~ one and the same. Stillness. What a blessing.

  3. Just by listening to the birdies every morning and having a little chat with them, much Happiness and Pease emerge. The trees swaying gently as I look through the window bring Stillness. It seems as if we greet each other in Consciousness. Thank you Universe for such Beauty and Truth.
